How Our Network Works
Request an estimate
Who You Talk To
Outputresponsible Heating & Air does not have repair crews. You will talk to an independent HVAC provider in our network. It is a local business that does heating and cooling work in St. Petersburg or the St. Petersburg area.
We do not list people on this site. Each provider is its own company. It has its own staff, prices, and schedule.
What Happens After You Ask
First, you send a request. You describe the problem in a few lines.
Next, a provider contacts you. They may ask a few questions. What is the unit doing? How old is it? Is the house hot or cold right now?
Then you talk about the visit. You can ask for a time that fits your day. Many providers can work around school runs and shifts, but each one sets its own schedule.
Last, the provider gives you an estimate. Ask for it in writing.
What to Ask a Provider
A short list helps you feel in control. Try these:
- Are you licensed and insured in Florida?
- What will the visit cost, and what is in that price?
- Is the quote in writing?
- How long will the work take?
- Will you tell me before you do any extra work?
- What happens if the problem comes back?
- Do you offer a warranty on parts and labor?
If a word confuses you, ask. A good provider explains it in plain terms. For example, a compressor is the part that moves coolant. A thermostat is the control on your wall.
Timing and the Weather
On hot, stormy days, providers get busy. Ask when they can come. If your AC is down, ask about emergency AC repair and whether the provider can respond quickly. Availability varies, so do not expect a set time.
You Are in Control
You decide what happens next. You can compare more than one estimate. You can say no. You can ask for time to think.
You are never required to hire any provider. There is no obligation when you request an estimate.
